Peer Support & Recovery Groups

People, places and things are the watchwords of recovery. Successful recovery requires that the person stop associating with individuals with whom he or she drank alcohol or used drugs, find new ways to have fun and fellowship, and learn more about successfully managing the disease of addiction. Here are several resources to help find these supports:

Alcoholics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous

Smart Recovery

Secular Organizations for Sobriety

Your community may also have recovery centers that may have helpful resources.
